It’s not that Carlin misleads a sub here and there, it’s the clearly communicated, bald-faced and bright-eyed way that she tells utter falsehood for the purpose of misleading wayward boys that really stands out. A unique brand of mindfuckery, indeed. A special, extended, essentially a triple scene where the boy finds out too late, the extended nature of the ordeal. Great reaction. Well, muffled reaction.
